Brendon House
Exmoor

Formerly a farmhouse,
Brendon House was built circa 1780 and still retains many of the original features and character. Situated in an acre of gardens on the village outskirts, elevated above the East Lyn river, with fields and rugged moorland at the rear, making it one of the best locations in the area. It is a very quiet and rural setting. From the house the Brendon Valley sweeps east to Malmsmead, brought to fame by the book "Lorna Doone", and west to Watersmeet
then onward to the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth.Brendon House is a "Country Guest House", with five letting rooms
, residents lounge and restaurant. It is small enough to be warm, cosy and affordable, yet big enough to give all the comforts that many of the larger establishments offer.
