From Taunton: follow the Minehead signs. Just after Bishops Lydeard turn left on to the B3224, signposted Elworthy and Wheddon Cross.  At Exford the road number becomes the B3223.  Continue on through Simonsbath towards Lynton across Exmoor.  On leaving the moor and passing over the cattle grid near Lynton the road turns sharp left with Brendon Manor Riding Stables ahead of you. Turn right here, signposted Rockford and Brendon.  Pass the Rockford Inn, then the Staghunters Inn. Go past the small village green and we are the long white house on the left.
